In the summer of 2025, when the third season of Netflix’s “Squidward” was on the air, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei was transformed into a real-life “Squidward” battlefield. This limited-time flash event called “THE FINAL GAME Squidward Play to the End” brought classic elements from the show into the city landmark, inviting fans to experience the tense atmosphere of the survival game in person.
2. Giant Installations and Scene Restoration
- Giant Dolls of Young Hee and Cheol Soo
Two 7-meter-high giant dolls of “Young Hee” and “Cheol Soo” appeared on the same stage for the first time, standing at both ends of the skipping rope, recreating the shocking scene of the third season. This installation art of the traditional Korean children became the most eye-catching check-in highlight at the scene. - Pink lights and themed settings
On the opening night of the event, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was covered with pink lights, and the classic scenes in the drama were arranged to create a fantasy and strange immersive atmosphere, making participants feel as if they were in the game scene.
3. Interactive experience and game design
- Giant skipping rope challenge
Participants can sign up to challenge the giant skipping rope and experience the excitement of the survival competition in the drama. The scene is divided into the Internet celebrity challenge and the public experience field, and both audiences and players can participate. - Themed level-breaking “Little Squid Play”
There are many classic game levels on site, such as playing picture cards, catching stones, etc., inviting everyone to challenge themselves and experience the tension of “surviving to the end”. - Pink Guard Band
Exclusive on the opening day, the Pink Guard Band wore the uniforms in the drama and opened the curtain with a live performance, perfectly restoring the sense of order and mysterious atmosphere in the series.
